I remember the good old days, when foreign regimes would come and go and no one gave a crap, especially when they were states as worthless as Syria. All of a sudden over the last couple years, the US feels the need to get involved for all sorts of flimsy reasons.

We always have to remember TM that none of this is "by accident" or caused by "stupidity." The toppling of established rulers in sovereign countries (most often to be replaced by radical Mooslim theocracies) has many benefits for the PTB. Some of which are: further redistributes wealth from the West, sows discontent within the West, adds another caliphate building block, and further destabilizes an already unstable region. And always remember that the ultimate application of the (Samantha) Power's "Right to Protect" (R2P) doctrine is Israel -- these other countries are useful stepping stones along that path.
