his ego would not allow him to do that--He has to get the credit so he is going to do his own (bits and pieces) same bill but he can get praise and back pats, Johnny and establishment gop want amnesty so it's coming however they dress it up it is still amnesty

So, being Speaker and getting it done wont garner the credit he seeks?
Well the MJB (Moron Johnny Boy) wants to enjoy his vacation by not having a bunch of real conservatives asking a bunch of questions at townhalls so he will wait till next month
Quote: Cedric wrote in post #15If MJB is "pushing amnesty" why didn't he immediately bring the Gang Of Eight bill up for a vote as soon as it arrived from the Senate?
That, after all, is when the momentum for the bill was at its strongest and he could have passed in the House.
The fact is that by stalling the vote the guy you're denigrating single-handely saved us from amnesty.
Please try thinking rationally instead of reacting emotionally like a bunch of frightened schoolgirls.
Nice spin. The reason Drunk Johnny slow walked amnesty is because of the recess that was coming up. He didn't want House members taking heat for their vote on it. After the break, the members will be strong armed by Canter et al to do it...

Inside Boehner's Strategy to Slow Walk Immigration to the Finish Line
ZitatHouse leaders put off immigration votes until after August recess, seeing delay as the best way to pass reform.
Okay, so which is it: Is Boehner a drunken, moronic, stumple-bum or the archetect of an incredibly shrewd and machiavellian plan to pass amnesty by delaying it?
The Dems, RINOs and the MSM were all pushing hard for quick passage of amnesty back in June and one would think that if Boehner is as inept as you say, he would need all the help he could get to ram it through.
Now, the momentum for the Senate bill has died, Schumer's beggiing instead of demanding and Boehner, the "loser" has got to resurrect the incredibly unpopular amnesty bill and spearhead its passage all by himself, despite the "fact" he "couldn't lead a horse to water in a flood" and no one in the House respects his authority.

Could it be that in these super secret meetings between Zero and Drunk Johnny that the WH is telling the Speaker what to do to slip this past his constituents?
