Hats off to Eglman. I don't know what type of deal with the devil he made, but it payed off big. I hope he doesn't waste all his talents here and actually calls his bookie to make some real coin.

I have 8 on Cincinnati tonight. Eglman has 9 on somebody tonight through elimination. If it is Pitt and they win, he can blow this thing out tonight. If not, I may be able to limp this week into the barn on a very thin margin.

Week 2 to this point was filled with drama and razor thin margins (of victory and/or defeat!). Personally, I lost 3 1-pointers, 1 3-pointer, and 2 4-pointers (37 CPs down the drain from 14 NFL total points across 6 games!!!). Cowboys and Eagles cost me 22 CP from a total of 4 NFL points!!! Bastids!!! But of course I squeaked by with the Texans and Saints (damn Saints almost knocked me out of our Survivor league!!!). (My take away: stop noodling around on Sunday AM trying to "adjust" my CP, I would have been better off with my initial assignments!! lol )


As we sit now on Monday Morning, with only tonight's Steelers @ Bengals matchup remaining, we actually have very competitive standings in our league, with:

Frank on top with 201 pts (20-11)
Eman on his heels with 199 pts (19-12)
FP following with 180 pts (20-11)
WG closing with 168 pts (17-14)
SE not too far back with 148 pts (18-13), and
JM hanging in there with 110 pts (19-12)!!!

Everyone in the league with a winning (W-L) record, JM bringing up the rear could be out front had she not forgotten her CP assignments of Week 1, W-G missed picking the TNF game this week, and SE just needs to pay more attention to the PROs (versus College) going forward (remember SE, this is "the league, where they play, ...........for pay!!").

So for the Week 2 wrapup tonight, the following CPs are still in play:

Eman - 9
Frank - 8
Justme - 16
WG - 8
FP - 14
SE - 1


Depending on how we all pick, Week 2 could end closer than we are now!!
