I countered with "he did many, many good things" when you misattributed my first comment as an all out Reagan bash when it wasn't. It was specifically limited for the purpose of answering you and the points that you had made.
If you want a thread about all of Reagan's victories and his legacy, start it. I'll be happy to join that discussion.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"If people can’t trust not only the executive branch but also don’t trust Congress, and don’t trust federal judges, to make sure that we’re abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here." - Barack Obama, June 7, 2013

Pretty much explains everything.
So here we see Cedric rah-rahing about everything republican. He first lists some principles that republicans supposedly stand for; then he chides Frank when Frank points out that republicans really don't adhere to said principles.
Pretty much explains everything.
The last man nearly ruined this place he didn't know what to do with it. If you think this country's bad off now, just wait 'til [Zero's] through with it. ~Rufus T. Firefly, paraphrased from the blockbuster 1933 hit "Duck Soup"

No, Rufus, Frank merely provided single, renegade exceptions, exceptions which prove the rule.
For example, he cited Toomey as "proof" that the GOP really isn't Pro-Second Amendment, failing to mention that Toomey's gun control effort was defeated primarily by Republicans.

Pro 2nd Amendment isn't a GOP hallmark if a sizable amount of GOP'ers don't believe in it. Here are the list of Senators who supported the Toomey amendment... Susan Collins (R-Maine) Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) John McCain (R-Ariz.)
If you take note, one of them was our Presidential candidate for 2008. All sorts of House members wanted it too like Pete King. Dingy Harry even voted against this turd, but it had GOP support anyway.

That's only 4 out of 46, right?
It's pretty hard to get 90/10 support for anything.
I'm just grateful that we currently have enough Pro-Second Amendment Republicans to stop gun-grabber legislation attempts.
And, I'm looking forward to adding more to the ranks in 2014.

It isn't hard to get 100% support if it is really the foundation of the party. You also wouldn't have one of the members of that party penning the legislation if it were too.

Since the GOP is the only current repository of nationally viable political conservatism, and the party is becoming more conservative with each passing election cycle, my statement stands and is not in need of correction:
