Reagan was not a perfect human being. Reagan was not omniscient. He could not control everything. He did many, many good things.

Pro 2nd Amendment isn't a GOP hallmark if a sizable amount of GOP'ers don't believe in it. Here are the list of Senators who supported the Toomey amendment...
Susan Collins (R-Maine)
Mark Kirk (R-Ill.)
John McCain (R-Ariz.)

If you take note, one of them was our Presidential candidate for 2008. All sorts of House members wanted it too like Pete King. Dingy Harry even voted against this turd, but it had GOP support anyway.
