Here's the deal, Cedric.

If they do not start a war within the party and cause it to go through painful, necessary, destructive change from within the GOP will have another candidate like Romney up against the next Democrat. And that Republican candidate will lose. So then it will be SIXTEEN YEARS of Democratic rule.

If you want to sit by and let that happen because you are loyal to the Grand Old Party then you only have yourself to blame when the collapse comes. And it is coming.

This is not about parliamentary process. This is being played out for the American public to watch, think about, absorb and begin to understand.

Representative government was a beautiful thing when it was in full bloom. Watching it tonight is heartening.

I can understand why that message is so hard for you to grasp.
