Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
What do you think of Jim Webb? I admire his background and past accomplishments. He served under Pubbies and got elected as a Dim. Interesting background.

I agree with you on that. His book about the VN war and his experiences there is one of the best books I ever read about VN.
He's really hard to pigeonhole politically, though. The closest I can come to describing his political beliefs is saying/guessing he is a conservative with strong Libertarian leanings. In other words,a Traditional Conservative.
Unless he gets WAAAAY across the line into Dim-o-crat land in order to get their votes,I can see me voting for him. The fact that he has pissed off the Professional Party People in both branches of the ruling party is nothing but a bonus as far as I am concerned.
I can't wait to see him get into a teebee debate with Bubbette! and the fat turd from NJ. I am guessing that Bubbette! will do anything she has to do to avoid debating him. Which leads me to say "Be on the lookout for a scandal "bomb" about Webb's personal life to be sent to the leftist media by "an anonymous source".

Seriously, it seems pretty dead.
Yes,it does, and I honestly can't figure out why. AFAIK there were no big fights or blowups here. People just seemed to drift away.

I think I might start to try posting articles here again to see if we can bring it back. Been too busy and distracted working around the house to do much beyond respond on threads others post, but am starting to get caught up now.
If you run across anything interesting,go ahead and start a thread. There are a few of us still checking in.
