This surveillance scandal arises out of our national bipartisan unwillingness to face the reality of Islamic jihad. Because we all agree that Islam is a religion of peace, we can't possibly address where the threat is really coming from, and monitor mosques or subject Muslims with Islamic supremacist ties to greater surveillance. Instead, we have to pretend that anyone and everyone is a potential terrorist, and surveil everyone. Our freedoms and privacy are now at risk because of our refusal to admit the truth about Islam.

Oh yes, please do! It is really what is truly behind all of this "PC" and "Multiculturalism" crap that has been foisted upon us. Check out Antonio Gramsci and also the Frankfurt School. None of this is by accident or a result of some people trying to be overly "polite," it is deliberate, long planned, and designed to destroy the underpinnings of Western Civilization. (Sadly it ooks like they are doing a great job, doesn't it?)

This won't make me popular, I feel that jihad has (mostly) been a boogeyman to trample on our freedoms since 2001.

Don't like Patriot Act? We have evil jihad out there to convince you to go along with it.

Etc. etc.

There's been a nonstop culture of fear in this country since 2001 and both Presidents have perpetuated it.

Keep fear alive, indeed.

Boston bombers killed 4 people... 4! How many other people have "yutes" in the ghetto killed since then? What about automobiles? You should be downright terrified to drive.

Jihad is a real threat but it's disgustingly blown out of proportion and used to perpetuate hysteria and fear, as well as take away your rights.
