How is it a GOOD strategy to repeat the same problems (vis a vis Obamacare) that have proven to be failures to our economy? (i.e, Social Security, Medicare, Entitlements)

I would really like an adult, reasoned well thought-out response to that question. Its a good one.

I'll agree, Yes, 'we don't have the votes to defund' is what he pointed out. But I would point that that is the same exact thing that we were told with Social Security, Medicare etc. etc. Votes aren't there to stop them, so here we are decades later still burdened with them.

We can't afford that strategy this time. Obamacare WILL cripple the country if not outright destroy it.

So that's it? Let our county be decimated - oh well - se la vie? That's a good strategy??

Shouldn't we all deserve a better strategy than that?

I frankly don't give a shit anymore if challengers are more or less Conservative that the incumbent. 28 years in the Senate is way too long. Since we don't have term limits, I will settle for Primaries.

This is a discussion board. We're here to discuss. But I don't think most of us are caught up into it to the point we're suicidal. Most of us have lives away from the 'net.

Speaking for me and my wife, we have our two grand-daughters (almost 6 and almost 8 years old) every weekend. Last Saturday we took them to the little county fair in our area. Watching them ride the rides and interact with the farm animals was great. Life is good (in spite of Zero).

I'll admit to being pretty depressed after the November election. But my wife reminded me that " . . . God didn't wake up today and say omigosh - Obama won the election. What am I gonna do"

In other words, He's still in control. His will be done.

Keeping that in mind helps me keep things in perspective.

Rove espoused the best possible tactic currently available to stop Obamacare: A massive class acrtion law suit, based upon Obama's unilateral, unconstitutional, usurpation of congressional powers and his arbitrary, capricious and unequal enforcement of a duly constituted law.

Just a reminder, I recommended this approach mere moments after Obama made his employer mandate postponement announcement.
