Crowds may have flocked to the National Mall to see President Obama make history in 2009, but the team behind the president's 2013 inauguration bash later this month are bracing themselves for a ton of empty seats.
The ceremony that Washington will stage in a few weeks won't be the historic affair it was in 2009, when nearly 2 million people flocked to the Capitol o watch Obama take the oath of office.
This time, District of Columbia officials expect between 600,000 and 800,000 people for Obama's public swearing-in on the steps of the Capitol on Monday, January 21.
Two weeks before the big day, plenty of hotel rooms still haven't been booked. Four years ago, some hotels sold out months in advance
The festivities have been scaled back from 4 days to 3, the parade will be smaller, and the excitement not as much. Still, sadly enough, he will be sworn in.
I'll bet a dollar that those estimates of 6-8 huny thousand are way overblown as well. I think it will be no more than 200K. No one cares about this loser anymore.
IF there is no possibility for his conversion, confession, repentance, 180 degree turn around and IF it would be a benefit to your truth; your Kingdom; your . . . alerting those who may yet still have eyes to see and ears to hear . . . what is really going on in the spiritual realm and somewhat still under the table in our Republic, PLEASE, Lord,
May the following be true of the inauguration:
1. May the turnout be 1/10th or less what the most dire predictions currently are.
2. May OThuga make a very unroyal donkey of himself publicly live on CNN etc. to an extreme degree. May he reveal his character as he never has before on TV--and in a prolonged, intense way--not just a blip easily edited out via the current live edit-out technology and delay features already in place. Cause it to be so stunning that those responsible for editing such out before broadcasting to be caught dumbfounded as deer in the headlights. Also, if they try to edit such out, cause said editing technology to fail. May all far and wide see OThuga for the evil hearted demonized traitor directed from hell that he so obviously is.
3. May the attendees get into riotous fights with each other trashing each other and the landscape in a most outrageously telling display of the 'qualities' and values of those who would drink OThuga's Kool-Aid.
4. May the news commentators find themselves brazenly declaring shockingly true things about OThuga as never before--regardless of the probable consequences.
5. May the degree of chaos; ugliness; brazenly nasty, dark, black, horrific stuff displayed at the inauguration be a VERY REPRESENTATIVE DISPLAY of the horror that OThuga plans to usher in over the next months. May it be a vivid alert and warning to the country and the world as a tailor-made representative vivid display of the tone and evil that lies ahead that OThuga's titular leadership will force on the Republic and the world.
6. May many of the Congress critters normally obligated to attend such manage to find ways and excuses to be elsewhere.
7. May none of the remotely decent Supreme Court Justices be present.
8. May a vast majority of the military folks obligated to be there, ordered to be there, find ways to display their disgust.
9. May any dogs nearby do their business on the legs of those most deserving of such 'affections.'
10. LET GOD ARISE AND HIS ENEMIES BE SCATTERED.
WHATEVER YOUR WILL WOULD BE REGARDING THE ABOVE, LORD GOD, IN JESUS' NAME, LET THAT BE. AMEN.

You nailed it, brother.
Many of his voters are...uh...indisposed at the moment.
The low information crowd may not be turning out but we sure will be.
The biggest crowds ever for the annual March for Life protest are expected to hit Washington January 25 as hundreds of thousands attend the 40th anniversary rally to protest the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion, according to organizers.
The march, expected to attract tens of thousands more than the record 400,000 two years ago, could rival President Obama's Inauguration Day crowd, propelled by the growing youth support of efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade, which the president has embraced with open arms. Obama drew 1.8 million in 2009. Just 600,000 are expected January 21st.
