The Republican Party of Ohio has appointed as its executive director a registered lobbyist actively campaigning to redefine marriage in the state, deepening the conflict between voters and the party elite. The move triggered swift backlash, as a coalition of 80 conservatives from across the state issued a letter warning party bosses they “will not support them” in the future.

I really don't understand why all the bowing down to a segment of our population that is less than 1%--is it because most of them are in positions of power ie. Wasington or Hollywood.

This one is a loser. You can't make the Republican party more attractive by making it a pale and late-in-coming version of the leftist party.

Not that we give any money to the Ohio Republican Party, but they will lose a lot of financial support by doing such a cowardly thing.

Appeasing the left in a weak attempt to be caring is a BIG mistake.

Losing our moral values is an even costlier one.

This is what the Karl Rove branch of the republican party thinks we should do. Move to the left and become morally corrupt like the democrats.
