They have 1/2 a branch now. 2014, so far, doesn't look promising.

Fact is what they're doing just isn't working.

If it was working, we'd be arguing about what to do with our new found power.

On a certain level I agree with you, we spend a disproportionate amount of our energy infighting.

On the other hand, we've been losing since 2006 and you know it.

I do not know what your motivations are.

I have stated previously on this forum that my turning against Senator Chambliss was because of his voting record. I look forward to seeing who wants to run for the office that he is vacating. I watch Senator Isakson just as closely.

And yesterday, he did not disappointment me:

Opposing filibuster threat, Senator Chambliss joins Sen. Isakson in calling for gun control debate

What both gentleman want me to forget is that even entertaining the idea of restricting the 2nd Amendment is furthering actions that thwart my rights as a citizen.

They may be wearing GOP jerseys but they are not defending my rights. This is NOT about taking back the Senate in a GOP majority for me. It's about stopping all of them from even dreaming of disarming the citizens. These men think that they can hold discussions about restricting gun rights. I will remember and never vote for Isakson again.

So the GOPe plan of pandering to Hispanics, moving closer ot the "middle" on abortion and forgetting about gun rights and fiscal responsibility is the game plan? More will fall off of the GOPe on right side then they will gain on the "middle". Proven fact when middle of the road Reps try and run they lose. Scott Brown moved ot the "middle" and got his a$$ kicked.

On this issue (2A) or a whole host of others, if the Senate is filled with statists -- who cares what letter is after their name? If a "GOP Senate majority" is comprised mainly of statists, they will be the functional equivalent of the current "Dem" majority, as they have often been in the past.
