Sen. Marco Rubio suggested Republicans�including himself�might not support the sweeping immigration reform bill unless further revisions are made.

Good. It was mentioned here a few weeks ago he was being naive trusting Schumer and friends that these parts of the bill would be implemented after passing. He's still a little wet behind the ears, but learning.

The problem is when you become friendly with snakes you change, the snake doesn't.

Recently the GOP has: Defeated Manchin-Toomey, voted to defund Obama's DREAM Act EO, voted to delay DHS bulk ammo purchases, and now this.

But, I'm sure there's some sinister motive behind it all.

People like what? People who - perhaps - want smaller, less intrusive gov't? People who want a true opposition party?

But you do have a point. The GOP doesn't HAVE to give a rip about "people like us." No, it can continue to do what it has done in the past - give us milk toast moderates like Romney and McClown and say "well, where else are you gonna go?"

No, the GOP doesn't HAVE to care.

And they can say hello to President Zero. And if there's an election in 2016, hello to President Hil-liar-y.

But you know what? Maybe, just maybe, the GOP doesn't have a problem with that.

You're a clown. The GOP has been the home of failure and loss for 8 years being run the way you approve of. The only bright spot was the '10 midterms and that win was despite professional losers like McConnell and Boner. They get enough money, from the companies and lobbyists that write the bills for them.

(In California 39% of bills are "sponsored" meaning written not by the representative, but by companies, lobbyists and institutions. There is only one democrat and one Republican that doesn't do this)

It is probably much the same at the feeral level.
