It's like an abusive relationship that conservatives cannot get out of. We know that the GOP doesn't respect us, but who else are we going to vote for?

They got us where they want us, don't they?

It's either that or don't vote. And to not vote. Hell, that would be like giving up the 1st or 2nd amendment, wouldn't it? Voting is the supreme right that we have and to not vote feels wrong to a lot of us. You have to understand that.

Ml you did a good job of listing what I right with the reps. Here is what I see wrong:

Top level:
Marketing Stinks.
No game plan that is followed.
VERY poor coaching, see Akin and a few others.

It makes good political and mathematical sense.

There simply aren't that many of them.

And, most of the time, they don't vote for GOP candidates anyway (then brag about it).

The point of the thread is to have an intelligent, non-personal discussion of what is right and what is wrong with the GOP.

Saying they're all evil or never do anything wrong doesn't really meet the criteria for this discussion, now does it?

My opinion remains........there's LOTS wrong with the GOP, but they are not evil incarnate.

I'd like more discussion on the insides of those extremes.

musiclady you can vote for their challenger when they next come up for election. This is "not relecting" them. This is letting them know that your vote is valuable to you and not a foregone conclusion.
