One last time many of the old GOP and their paid consultants want the pro life issue to go away, that is wny they bring Akin up all the time. If those unwashed pro lifers had not elected him to run. A Rove moderate may have won.

....that is what passes for political discussion for much of the right today.

The republican party is floundering around for solutions as to why they lost the election to Obama. Even though there are some things I agree with in the republican party, they are changing fast into becoming indistinguishable from the democrats. They are convinced it will make them more electable.

One of the major reasons they lost the election is because they can't compete with the entitlements Obama has dished out for the past four years. They won't ever win another election as long as they try to turn themselves into democrats and the Karl Rove branch of the party is doing just that.
The Washington republican party could care less about the "backward" middle class conservatives.

Approving gay marriage, allowing abortions & giving amnesty to millions is a huge voting bloc for democrats.
The only thing that will save the conservative people is to form another party that is compatible to a large percentage of Americans.

My city & state is fully republican. Obama lost North Carolina this time around and I hope to get rid of Kay Hagan in the near future.
I will actively work to have her replaced, but it's not going to help that much when conservatives are considered religious zealots with backward views and the media helps with this concept.
Our country is morally corrupt and it's affecting every aspect of our lives.
It's not the republican party that will help this situation, regardless of how much of a downer it is to say it.
